Maidu Meet-Ups

ACTIVITIES

MVCA is proud to offer a variety of in-person and virtual meetups to increase social connections between Maidu students. Additionally, MVCA students can access clubs at our partner schools in PUHSD (Colfax HS, Del Oro HS, Foresthill HS, and Placer HS). MAIDU MEETUPS

MVCA is proud to offer a variety of in-person and virtual meetups to increase social connections between Maidu students.  Additionally, MVCA students can access clubs at our partner schools in PUHSD (Colfax HS, Del Oro HS, Foresthill HS, and Placer HS).  Please see the information below regarding Maidu Meetups and PUHSD Clubs.

Maidu Meetups happen around once per month each school year, and provide opportunities for students to meet and build connections outside of school.  Prior Maidu Meetups have included: hikes, coffee shops, bowling, cooking classes, arcade, picnics, Rivercats games, and more...  Please click the link below for this year's Maidu Meetup schedule so you can plan to be there and join the fun!

Clubs at MVCA

Join us at the first meeting of the Media Club @MVCA on November 18th!

  • WHO: ALL are welcome to join
  • WHEN: 2:30 to 3:30 pm
  • WHERE: 2 options | In-person at the MVCA Student Lounge OR join through Google Meet.

Dances

If you are a current MVCA student and want to attend a dance at Colfax HS, Del Oro HS, Foresthill HS, or Placer HS, please complete the MVCA Dance Pass. Once completed, please email the form to Ms. Miller.

Dances at each campus happen around the same time each year, and typically include:

  • SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER: Homecoming
  • MARCH/APRIL: Junior Prom
  • APRIL/MAY: Senior Ball

*Individual schools may have additional dances not listed above. Please check with each school directly for dance information.

CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our MVCA Virtual Bulletin Board, where students can make connections and meet up with one another by interest.
